USIAQ is located in Cary, North Carolina and provides testing, training and product reviews.

Mission Statement: To provide practical, useful and value oriented testing, training and product reviews, which meet the immediate needs of indoor air quality within United States.

Testing: We specialize in specific testing for mold/fungi, lead, radon, toxic drywall, VOVs, ions, and electromagnetic fields.

Training: Home study, classroom and online training are offered for mold, lead, radon and toxic drywall remediation. 

Product Reviews: We review products and procedures for efficiency, practical infield applications and value.

Situation: EPA ranks indoor air pollution as one of the top five environmental dangers to the public.  In America, chemicals have replaced bacteria and viruses as the biggest threat to our health.  Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking (Environmental Protection Agency).

WHO: There are no safe levels of radon.  The majority of radon induced lung cancers are caused by low and moderate radon concentrations (World Health Organization).

ALS: Lung cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed form of cancer in both men and women. However, it is still the most common cause of cancer death.  Make healthy air your goal, to do that, first, control the sources and second, ventilate.  Fresh air needs to come indoors: air pollution from indoors needs to go outside (American Lung Association).
