VENTILATION
Energy Recovery Ventilator:
The ERV removes stale air from in the home and replaces it with dry, filtered air. It captures some of the energy (heating of air conditioning) from the air that was being exhausted.
Application:
Residential and commercial buildings. Used in tight buildings where dilution and energy recover of exhausted polluted air is needed.
Benefits:
Improves indoor air quality through dilution and adds too energy efficiency.
Company Statement:
Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) insures that incoming fresh outdoor air is filtered, and then cooled and dehumidified by the stale outgoing air as it passes through an energy recovery core. The ERV then distributes the incoming conditioned air throughout the home by direct ductwork installed specifically for the ERV or through the ductwork of a forced-air system. |
